Young Men of Distinction (YMOD) is a youth mentoring and leadership development program designed to empower middle school young men with the skills, confidence, and support needed to become successful young adults.
Through mentorship, interactive workshops, community service, educational experiences, and positive male role models, YMOD helps participants strengthen their leadership, communication, character, academic readiness, and life skills. Young men engage in meaningful conversations and activities focused on topics such as financial literacy, emotional intelligence, healthy decision-making, personal responsibility, college and career readiness, conflict resolution, hygiene and grooming, and community involvement.
Built on the core values of Honor, Respect, Dedication, and Commitment, YMOD provides a supportive brotherhood where young men are encouraged to discover their purpose, set goals, overcome challenges, and become positive leaders within their families, schools, and communities.
